Rise and Shine: The Early Bird Gets the Roof
As an employee at CML Roofing and Contracting, my day starts bright and early. The alarm clock goes off at 5:30 AM, and I’m out the door by 6:15. Our team meets at the office for a quick briefing before heading out to the day’s job sites.
Morning: Assessing the Situation
Today, we’re starting with a residential roofing project. As a general contracting company, CML Roofing and Contracting handles various tasks, but roofing is our specialty. Upon arrival, we:
- Inspect the existing roof
- Discuss the plan with the homeowner
- Set up safety equipment
- Begin removing old shingles
Midday: The Heat is On
As the sun climbs higher, so do we. Roofing work can be intense, especially during summer months. We take regular breaks to stay hydrated and avoid heat exhaustion. By lunchtime, we’ve made significant progress on the roof replacement.
Afternoon: Diversity in Our Work
After lunch, I head to a different site where CML is overseeing a kitchen remodeling project. As a full-service general contracting company, we handle various home improvement tasks. I spend the afternoon coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring the project is on schedule.
Evening: Wrapping Up and Planning Ahead
Before heading home, I return to the office to complete paperwork and plan for tomorrow. CML Roofing and Contracting prides itself on efficient project management, so we always stay on top of our schedules and materials needs.
As I drive home, I feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that we’ve made progress on multiple projects today, helping homeowners improve and protect their most valuable asset – their homes.
